Yibang Mountain in the Xishuangbanna production area, is the first of the six large tea-producing mountains with the highest altitude within the territory. In the seventh year of Yongzheng, the governor of Yunnan, Ertai, relied on Yibang tea as a tribute to the court. Since then, Yibang tea had become a tributary tea to honor the Qing Dynasty imperial family.
